An injured son was found inside a crashed car after his dad spun out of control and ended up in a hedge, leaving his son behind. The driver fled the scene in Airmyn, near Goole, East Yorkshire, at 8pm on Saturday night. Details of the age of the son and his father have not yet been released, but witnesses said the Ford Focus hit a parked car, spun out of control and ended up in a hedge.
Police said that his son was treated at the scene and his father was found to be under the influence of alcohol.
The drama happened on the night of Saturday, September 1, in what is usually a sleepy village just under three miles north-west of Goole.
