Moses Subbed On As Liverpool Hold Chelsea At Stamford Bridge

Former Super Eagles winger, Victor Moses made his second Premier League appearance of the season in Chelsea 1-1 draw With Liverpool at the Stamford Bridge on Saturday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Moses replaced Brazilian star William in the 72nd minute of the keenly contested and highly entertaining encounter.

Moses’ only appearance for the Blues in the Premier League was against Huddersfield on the opening day of the season.

Eden Hazard gave Chelsea the lead in the 25th minute converting home a superb pass from Croatian midfielder, Mateo Kovacic.

It was the Belgian’s sixth Premier League goal of the season following up on his sublime winner against same opponent in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

Both teams wasted a number of chances afterwards with Hazard coming close to doubling Chelsea’s lead in the second half. Xherdan Shaqiri and Roberto Firmino also missed glit edged chances for Liverpool.

Substitute Daniel Sturridge equalised for Liverpool two minutes from time with a well placed shot outside the box.
