It was said to have been stolen from the office branch located at Qundus Folawiyo Street in Isolo, Lagos.

According to apprentice, Olisa, he met some people who scammed him by asking him to sell the cables and bring the money for them to empower him with spiritual powers. He reportedly sold the items, gave the money to them and they took him to Ogun State where they promised him that his master will not know he stole the items.

However, the concoctions they prepared for him failed as his master discovered that those items were missing and handed him over to the police at Aswani Division.

He was charged before the Isolo Magistrates court for stealing and he initially pleaded guilty. He was granted bail and remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect the bail condition.

However, when the matter came up on Tuesday, he changed his plea. The prosecutor, Mrs Rita Momah, did not oppose his bail but asked the court to give another date for trial.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs O.A. Adegbite, granted him bail and ordered him to be remanded in prison custody pending when they will perfect his bail condition.

The matter was adjourned till 17th September, 2018.

When P.M.Express contacted the apprentice, Olisa, he said that he was tempted to become rich after he was contacted by one of the gang members who misled him and duped him.

He regretted that the concoctions they prepared for him did not work including the assurance that his master will not know that he stole the items for the purpose.
