CCTV captured moment Leicester City owner’s helicopter crashed

Footage has emerged of the moment Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha’s helicopter spiralled out of control moments after take-off. The CCTV footage shows the helicopter crashing to the ground in a car park outside the King Power Stadium killing all five people on board. It can be seen spinning out of control before it crashes to the ground and explodes in flames.

Mr Srivaddhanaprabha was killed along with his assistant Kaveporn Punpare, former Thai beauty queen Nursara Suknamai, pilot Eric Swaffer and his girlfriend co-pilot Izabela Lechowicz. Experts investigating what caused the helicopter crash have begun analysing the flight recorder retrieved from the wreckage. The digital device, which records data and voices, was taken to the Air Accidents Investigation Branch’s (AAIB) headquarters in Farnborough, Hampshire on Sunday night.
