Jose Mourinho insists he will not celebrate wildly if Manchester United score or win at his former club Chelsea .

Mourinho takes his United team to Stamford Bridge tomorrow with his future still in doubt, with the Reds eighth in the table after three defeats in their opening eight games.

Chelsea, unbeaten this season, are favourites to win tomorrow but Mourinho, who enjoyed two spells at Chelsea, said he will not lose control if United score or spring a shock by winning.

“For me it’s another game,” said Mourinho. “Would I celebrate like crazy, my team goal at Stamford Bridge or my team victory at Stamford Bridge? I don’t think so.

“I think I would try to control myself and to respect the stadium and the supporters that were my supporters and stadium for many years.

“To do that should be something where I completely lost my emotional control, which is not easy, so I would think which stadium I am in, which public is in the stands, but apart from that it’s another match for me.

“I want to do well for my team, players, support, I am 100 per cent Manchester United tomorrow, no more space than respect for the stadium and the fans.”

Mourinho was on the brink before the international break, with United insiders feeling he was destined for the sack.

But United’s stunning comeback from 2-0 down to beat Newcastle 3-2 has bought him time and he claimed the feel good factor from that win is still with his players, despite the interruption of the international break.
