Church Security Guard Caught With Military Uniforms In Kaduna State. Photos

Security operatives who were deployed across Kaduna state following the crisis have arrested a church security guard for being in possession of military outfits.

It was gathered that officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) apprehended the security guard identified as Mr. James for wearing a military uniform.

When a search was conducted at his home, additional six sets of military uniform were also found.

He was immediately taken into custody as investigation into the matter has been launched.

Meanwhile, the Kaduna State Government has eased off the 24-hour curfew on Kaduna metropolis, giving residents between 1pm to 5pm  “to restock on essentials”.

Mr Samuel Aruwan the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Publicity said in a statement on Tuesday in Kaduna, made available to News Agency of Nigeria.

Aruwan however said that the window did not include residents of Kabala West, Kabala Doki, Sabon-Tasha, Narayi and Maraban Rido where the 24-hour curfew still remains in place.

According to him, the decision was the outcome of the State Security Council meeting held on Tuesday.
