How Super Eagles Trained On Wednesday Ahead Libya Clash

Super Eagles had their second full training session at the practice pitch of the Akwa Ibom International Stadium Uyo on Wednesday with all players actively involved, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

The session lasted over an hour.

Get it Rohr who welcomed late arrivals Odion Ighalo and Brian Idowu prior to the sessions grouped his outfield players into three with the three goalkeepers undergoing drills under the watchful eyes of Enrico Pionetti and Alloy Agu.

Ahmed Musa, Alex Iwobi, Odion Ighalo, Samuel Kalu, William Troost-Ekong and Abdulahi Shehu made up the team in yellow while Kenneth Omeruo, John Ogu, Henry Onyekuru, Ogenyi Onazi, Moses Simon, Jamilu Collins and Kelechi Iheanacho were the players who trained in blue bib.

The players in red bib had Brian Idowu, Wilfred Ndidi, Leon Balogun, Isaac Success, Olaoluwa Aina, Chidozie Awaziem, and Oghenekaro Etebo.

The session had each group pressing retrieve the ball from the remaining two groups who were instructee to keep possessions with just two touches for each player.

After the drills which lasted for about 30 minutes, Rohr also drilled the full-backs, Shehu Abdullahi and Jamilu Collins on crosses.

The team also had shooting exercise in which Ahmed Musa, Kenneth Omeruo and Henry Onyekuru excelled.
