Odion Ighalo (pictured above with CSN’s Edward and Ibitoye at Lagos Airport) will join up with the rest of his Super Eagles teammates in camp this afternoon at the Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort Uyo ahead of Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers Group E match against Libya, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

The Changchun Yatai striker boarded an Air Peace flight in Lagos with CSN’s reporter, Johnny Edward and the Media Officer of the Super Eagles, Toyin Ibitoye, to Uyo late Wednesday morning.

Ighalo told CSN before the departure of the flight that the ambition of playing at the Africa Cup of Nations is the sole motivation for him and teammates going into the crucial double header against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya.

“We want to play at the AFCON next year and to do that, beating Libya is a task we must accomplish successful,” Ighalo told CSN, beaming in smile.

Nigeria on three points, trail Group E leaders Libya by a point ahead of the double header billed for Uyo on Saturday and next Tuesday in Ajax Tunisia.
