Kim Kardashian has apologized after she was seen boasting about her weight loss, with sister Khloe calling her ‘anorexic’. Appearing as a guest on Ashley Graham’s podcast, Pretty Big Deal, on Tuesday, the reality star and entrepreneur addressed her comments, which were slated by the internet as ‘problematic’. The 37-year-old feels remorse for the comments and regrets how they came across. ‘Looking back, having said that, I 100% completely understand where people are coming from,’ she told the model. ‘My intention is never to offend anyone and I apologize if I did that.

‘I know people who have serious eating disorders who have been in and out of the hospital for 15 years. Close people. I’ve experienced it enough to know better.’ The sisters were all joking backstage at a celebrity poker tournament in July when Kim began filming herself for videos on Instagram. Clearly feeling her whole aesthetic, and we can’t get angry at that, her videos soon turned into a free for all as she encouraged her sisters to compliment her weight loss, claiming she was now down to 119 pounds.

However, things took a turn as she then described Kim’s arms as ‘anorexic’ seemingly in a fawning way, which common sense should tell you isn’t the correct word to use – with many finding the comments problematic. ‘Your hair extensions, your ass, your tits, they’re heavy cause she’s fucking voluptuous,’ Khloe said, while talking to BFF Malika – while Kim continued filming.

‘But she’s anorexic here [points to waist] and her arms are like pin thin, they’re like my pinkie—it’s bizarre.’ Kim wanted to clarify the comments this week, as she said it was all in jest – even though she does realise the language wasn’t appropriate. ‘When our sisters are laughing and joking…sometimes you can get carried away and just, it was insensitive,’ she said of the comments, before making it known she worked hard for her results. ‘I spent an entire year, six days a week working out, I lost 20 pounds, it’s been a year coming.
