A newborn baby boy has miraculously survived after being dumped in a black nylon bag and abandoned in a bush in Imo state.
It was gathered that the incident happened recently in Umuokwu Ihiagwa in Owerri West local government area of the state as residents and neighbours heard the cry of the helpless baby throughout the night.
Early the next morning, the neighbours traced the baby to the bush were it was dumped in a bag.
When the baby boy was brought out, he was found with his placenta and still breathing.
The baby was rushed to St. Augustine hospital where a doctor attended to him.
According to reports, the doctor said the baby would have died if they had not rescued him on time.
