Super Eagles Star Ndidi Scores Late Equaliser As Leicester Draws West Ham.

Ten-Man West Ham thought they had survived Mark Noble’s first-half red-card to hold on for three crucial points – until Wilfred Ndidi’s last-minute equaliser floored them!

Ndidi’s heavily deflected strike a minute from time prevented a fifth defeat in seven Premier League games for Puel on a day which started with him taking the bold decision to drop Jamie Vardy.

Fabian Balbuena’s goal had given West Ham the lead but Mark Noble’s fifth red card of his career ensured Manuel Pellegrini’s men had to play 52 minutes with ten men.

West Ham still appeared on course to secure three points until Ndidi’s shot struck the back of Balbuena to finally beat the outstanding Lukasz Fabianski.

Leicester were saved, though there was still a horrible moment in added time when defender Daniel Amartey was stretchered off with what looked like a broken leg.

The points gives Leicester 13 points to West Ham’s eight, the 13th place Hammers a slot below the Foxes.
