A teenager threatened to ‘expose’ a top businessman she met on a ‘sugar daddy’ website to the media unless he gave her cash. Aisling Ironside admitted extorting hundreds of pounds from the man who can only be known as Mr A, due to an order protecting his identity.

A court heard how Ironside was 17 when she met the married businessman through SeekingArrangement.com, reports the Daily Record.

She said she would “expose the man’s infidelity to the media” unless he continued giving her cash.

However, her lawyer claimed Mr A took pictures of the teen’s bare breasts and “threatened to humiliate her with them if she didn’t meet his requirements”.

Ironside then threatened to publicly expose him, it was claimed.

The court heard Mr A gave money to Ironside several times before the extortion.

On one occasion, he gave her £1,200 to decorate her home.

Ironside’s lawyer Alex Burn said there was “no intimacy” between his client and Mr A but he took pictures of her breasts.

He added: “He threatened if she did not meet certain requirements he would show this image with a view to clearly humiliating her. “She then engaged in this idiotic plan to get money from him.”

After Ironside threatened Mr A, a payment of £550 was transferred to her bank account. However, he then went to police.

Ironside, now 20, of Aberdeen, admitted extortion in November 2016. She was fined £550.
