United Nations disaster assessment and coordination team paid a visit to Saaci-nku, Egagi in Lavun LGA and Badegi-egbanti in Katcha LGA of Niger State to monitor the flood situations in those communities.
The UN members were accompanied by National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Niger State Emergency Management Agency (NSEMA) and other emergency agencies.
The joint team discovered that while waters have receded in some communities, others like Saaci-nku and Egagi are still submerged.
