A young boy has been found dead after drowning in a river in Gusau, Zamfara state capital. It was gathered that the boy drowned after he was reportedly carried away by the water.
His corpse was found few hours ago, after frantic efforts by the residents.
The police have been alerted on the boy’s death as officers arrived the scene to remove his corpse.
Efforts are now being made to locate the boy’s family or relatives.
