1. He can’t stop talking about himself

It’s hardly ever about you when you’re dating a narcissist. Even if you’re the one with the good news or you had a bad day, somehow the conversation becomes about him – his news, his day. When you do get a word in, if it’s not in agreement with him, he will either ignore, dismiss or correct you.

2. He revels in praise

You will have relationship issues if you don’t give a narcissistic partner your complete attention. He needs you to dote on him and always acknowledge his achievements. By the way, you will be hard-pressed to get the same from him.

3. He thinks he’s better than everyone

You see him demean others and he loves talking about the negative aspects of other people’s life. Even his close friends and family are not spared. He believes he can do a better job than anyone else.

4. He overreacts

If his emotional needs aren’t met, a narcissist is very likely to overreact. In many cases, he can become extremely angry, cry or even be cruel.

5. He’s overly critical

Narcissists find it difficult to encourage, support or be happy for you. Instead, they will down. your accomplishments or even criticize them. You may hear him saying he could have done it better than you did.

6. They can be generous, but only to suit their need for attention

He may buy you things but become overly angry and even abusive if you don’t show the required level of appreciation and adoration for his gesture. Or he may give you gifts in front of others so they can see what a great job he’s doing as a boyfriend.

7. They love breaking boundaries

Narcissists love to test the boundaries. They’re very likely to do the things you tell them are unacceptable.  That’s why they are more likely to cheat and push your . in other ways.
