Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z joined forces on Halloween as they paid tribute to trailblazers of the black sporting community.

The singer, 37, looked absolutely sensational as she portrayed the late track and field athlete Florence Griffith Joyner as she dressed up in her ensemble from 1988, which saw her set world records for the 100m and 200m – which impressively still stands.

Jay-Z, 48, also paid his respect to icons of the sporting world, as he channelled Tommie Smith during his legendary Black Power Salute – a symbolic protest against racism in the US – at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City, alongside John Carlos.

The Crazy In Love hitmaker slipped into a one-legged pink Adidas unitard, with Florence’s number 371 stuck on the front.

Really getting into it, Beyonce also emulated a number if Florence’s iconic poses during her successful sporting career.
