How To Blend Your Leave-out With Your Curly Hair ExtensionsZUMI

Curly hair is beautiful. It has the right mixture of cute and sexy that most women would love If only it wasn’t so stressful.

First of all, it can be a bother deciding what to do with your hair and then how to get it to blend with the extensions. You can always use a closure but if it doesn’t blend with your scalp, it could look really tacky.

Leaving your hair out on your curly extensions makes it look natural. And because we’re all about the perfectly laid look we’re going to show you how to blend your leave-out with your curly hair extensions.

The heat method

This method involves the use of a curling wand. But first, you’ll need to coat your leave-out first with a heat protectant to prevent heat damage which can be a disaster. Next cut the hair in bits (using the curl size of your extensions as a guide) and wrap it around the slim end of the curling wand. You only need to leave it for a few seconds and then unwrap it. Repeat the process for all your leave-out and that’s it.

N.B: Make sure your curling wand is not too hot. If it has a regulator, it shouldn’t be set to anything higher 300-350 degrees.

The no heat method

If you don’t want to use heat tools on your hair, this is another way to blend your leave-out with your curly hair extensions. You’ll need cold wave rods or the tiny bendy rollers, some leave-in conditioner, oil and styling mousse or setting lotion.

If your natural hair is not relaxed then you should straighten it first but if it’s relaxed then it might not be necessary. Apply the leave-in in conditioner to your leave-out, next apply some oil to seal and right after that some setting lotion or mousse (optional). After that, cut the hair in bits and wrap it around your the flexi rods. Leave it for an hour till it’s dry or just overnight.
