It was perfectly appropriate for their style, with their family dressed casually in jeans and Liam, 28, teaming a suit with trainers.
Sharing an insight into their special day, a source told People: ‘In the past, any time Miley would talk about getting married to Liam, she would always have a huge smile. She has been wanting to get married to Liam for years. According to the insider, everyone is ‘very excited’ for the newlyweds as Miley’s family have ‘always loved Liam’.
It may come as a surprise that the couple opted for such a low-key wedding but the source says it was totally their way of doing things. They revealed: ‘They always wanted a small, private celebration with family and close friends and that’s what they got.
