Rita Dominic & Stephanie Coker-Aderinokun Both Look Amazing In TUBOZUMI

There are tons of amazing Nigerian designers in Nigeria. And each one of them brings something unique to the table. However, when two of the most stylish women in Nigeria wear the same piece from one designer, that’s saying something. That is a designer to pay attention to. But that’s not why we’re here. Today, we’re trying to figure out who wore the piece better.

Welcome to another edition of ZUMI Style Off! Our contenders today are two amazing women who we keep looking to for amazing red carpet looks and inspiration. And they’re both wearing variations of the same dress from Nigerian designer, TUBO.

The ‘heyfey’ dress was released this year as part of TUBO’s ‘Herform‘ 2018 collection. Rita Dominic was the first person we ever saw in the dress and she gave it quite the spotlight. And most recently Stephanie Coker-Aderinokun wore the dress in monochrome, and we can’t tell whose we love more.

Rita Dominic

On the left above, we have the amazing Nollywood veteran, Rita Dominic. Rita is has been known in Nollywood for her bad girl roles, signature hairstyles and great acting skills. But lately, she’s been taking over style circles.

Rita wore this amazing ‘heyfey’ dress a while back for the 2018 AMVCAs but the image is still etched in our memory. Her dress came in a stunning royal blue which made the neckline embellishments sparkle and shine. Her sleek hair and subtle statement accessories allowed the dress to shine and made this look a 2018 classic.

Stephanie Coker-Aderinokun

Now let’s look at Rita’s contender, Stephanie Coker-Aderinokun. Steph is no newbie in our style ranks. Her ability to switch things up with her style makes her one to constantly watch. And another reason why you should always watch her? She knows how to roll with the best of the best.

Stephanie wore her TUBO dress to the recently held Future Awards Africa 2018 and looked amazing. We love her monochrome version and think its a great option for any red carpet. The white balloon top is finished off with a shimmery silver neckline that glistens. And we love how classic the entire look is, especially with her cropped hairstyle.
