So it’s the season to be merry! And regardless of what your religion is, one thing is for sure, there’ll be lots of parties and events to attend this holiday. And as your unofficial style guide, we’re here to ensure you slay them all.

First of all, this might be a good time to avoid wearing red. We’re all for the fiery colour but people are going to be wearing lots of red this period. So you can decide to either blend in with the rest of them or stand out and of course, we’re choosing the latter for you. *You’re welcome*.

Now, what better colour to rock if not black? It’s sexy and edgy. We’re going to show you ways to make it totally work for any event you’re attending.

Go bold (bald?) or go home

We can’t decide what we love most about this bold look, the feathery details around the skirt or the mesh embellished top. But we can definitely take a cue from Nancy on how to rock an all-black outfit. We definitely approve!

Combine textures

Throwing together different textures with your all-black outfit gives it a very edgy multidimensional look. The leather pants, silky blouse and the ruffled bodice of the top make this outfit totally rock. To kill this look keep your hair pulled back and accessories at a minimum. And don’t forget your red lipstick!

Add a dash of colour

The mustard colour on the pants makes this otherwise basic outfit literally pop. Something else you can do is use a colourful scarf or bag. But the idea is to add just one bold colourful item to your entire all black look.
