A 16-year old girl has shown her delight to become a sex worker in order to have access to more men and so abandoned her education and moved to get herself acquainted with the trade in Lagos.

The teenager went to a young lady, one Emmanuella Ozuabi, who had been prostituting and pleaded with her to teach her the job and the lady agreed. The little girl left her home and followed Emmanuella to a hotel where she had access to men as she liked.

However, while the little girl was away from home, her parents searched for her to no avail. The parents then went to the police station and reported that she was missing. Thus, the Presiding Magistrates, Mr. L.K.J. Layeni, granted her bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum.

She was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect the bail condition.
