Paul Pogba has been upstaged by his own mother in his latest advert for adidas. The Frenchman starred alongside his mum in a hilarious new clip along with Jesse Lingard and rapper ASAP Ferg as social media trolls called him out for being ‘overrated’.
The Manchester United star is then challenged to a one-on-one but Pogba’s mother, Yeo, is on hand to outshine her son.
After tweeting that he could best Pogba by himself, ‘The Troller’ is told ‘you couldn’t even beat my mum’ by the midfielder himself.
The Troller is then confronted in a housing estate by the 25-year-old in a old western-styled shootout, along with the star of the show, Yeo.
As Pogba’s mother cracks her knuckles and stares down her opponent, onlookers hilariously stop and marvel at the odd-looking mismatch.
With one slick feint, Pogba’s mother sends the Troller flying into the air and onto the floor, silencing her son’s haters in the process.
After watching the clip, Lingard claims the Twitter troll ‘just got faked’ before mother Yeo is seen trying to ‘dab’ but comically failing.
The advert has been applauded by fans online who have described the video as ‘incredible’.
The brilliant advert showcases Yeo’s strong connection she has with sons.
Yeo, who raised her three boys in the tough Roissy-en-Brie banlieue outside Paris, continues to be a brilliant role model to her three boys.
