The ‘spitting image’ of Lionel Richie is being hunted by police over a fight in a nightclub. Officers have launched an appeal to find him in the hope he gets in touch, and says: ‘Hello, is it me you’re looking for?’ Police released a CCTV image of the moustachioed man after an attack left another reveller with a broken jaw.
This new wanted lookalike comes just after the hunt for a shoplifter who looked like Ross from Friends came to an end last week. In the photo, he was seen smiling widely as he grooves to the music in a bomber jacket. Some jokers online pointed out the man has an uncanny resemblance to the former Commadores singer. Marianne Morgans said: ‘It’s definitely Lionel Richie. I can see it in his eyes, I can see it in his smile.’
Becca Simpson joked: ‘Looks like any jail time for him will be easy, easy like Sunday mornings.’
Carla Jackles added: ‘Oh what a feeling, now the police they are appealing.’
Matthew Davies wrote: ‘Hello, is it me that broke your jaw?’
