According to reports, a woman who was allegedly brought back to life by the Repentance and Holiness Ministry leader, Prophet David Awuor, has died.
Rosa Chepochesau, who was popularly known as Mama Rosa, died on January 22, 2019, at the age of 59 after long battle with illness and was ‘secretly’ laid to rest at her home in Cheparten, Lelan Pokot South in Kenya.
According to residents of Cheparten, there were talks about Mama Rosa’s demise but no one from the Prophet Owuor’s church spoke about the late whose ‘resurrection’ story shook the nation in 2017.
“Yes, she is dead. We are told she was taken to Eldoret to stay with a certain doctor who wanted to have his medical history. After that we have never seen her again until Wednesday when the news came that she is dead,” one of the residents who did not wish to be mentioned told TUKO.co.ke.
Although the late Mama Rosa was diagnosed with what the doctors termed as Artheritis, other reports indicated she had been suffering from epilepsy since childhood.
When details of her resurrection emerged, many who did not know her in the neighborhood trooped to her home to witness the ‘miracle’.
Following her said return from the dead, the deceased was later relocated to Eldoret, a move that was reportedly facilitated by one Doctor Kasepoi who insisted on observing and taking records of Mama Rosa’s medical history.
