No fewer than 2 persons loss their lives in a boat mishap, 11 others were said to have been rescued in Ogheye, a community in Warri North Local Government Area in Delta State, as a result of the sudden postponement of the country general election by INEC scheduled for Saturday 16th February 2019.
He accused INEC for failing to make proper and adequate preparations in regards to the national election that took them over three years to plan and came up with emergency logistics issues as if logistics matters was not in the original plans of the commission.
‘He described the action of the commission as one who plan’s at the battle ground’
The Warri North Local Government Boss. further, said the action of the commission has thrown the entire council area into mooning state due to the incident.
While appealing to the family’s of the disease to bear the unfortunate incident, he however, charged them to take solace in God and pray their gentle souls to rest in perfect peace.
