A man admitted he made a ‘bad decision’ when he broke into a barn and sexually abused a horse. Kenneth L. Duyck, 21, has been sentenced to 20 months in prison by a court in Oregon for the sickening offence.

Duyck, from Hillsboro, Oregon, stole a pickup and broke into the Forest Grove Storage Lot on and raped the mare on April 19, court records show.

His crimes were discovered when the owner of the barn noticed that one of her horses was tied up in a different way to the others.

Upon further inspection, she noticed semen on its genitals and called police.

She recalled someone had called her to her property the day before and asked if he could sleep there – a request which she denied.

She concluded the two events were probably related.

The 21-year-old has a history of mental illness and has previously been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

A court ordered him to undergo tests for mental evaluation at the Oregon State Hospital.

Duyck was found sleeping in the stolen pickup on April 24, and later admitted that he had gone to the barn in the middle of the night. He confessed that he went to the stable, tied up a horse with a rope and ejaculated on the horse’s tail, according to the report.
