All Passengers Killed In Fatal Bus Accident On Their Way To Benin. Photos

According to reports, all passengers in a commercial bus, were killed in a fatal motor accident along Benin Lagos expressway.

It was gathered that the passengers boarded the popular Iyare motors and were travelling to Benin, Edo state capital before the crash on Friday, February 1st, which killed all aboard including a man who just returned from Europe.

Master Uyi was said to have returned to Nigeria after some years only to be killed in the accident.

Last year, the Ogun State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), commenced legal action against Iyare Motors over a fatal crash, which claimed the lives of seven persons in Sagamu, along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

 

The crash, which occurred at about 8:40 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, involved a white Toyota Hiace bus, belonging to transport company, Iyare Motors (registration number BEN 313 YZ) and a blue Mack truck (registration number MUS 730 XN).

“While travelling along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, before the Sagamu Interchange, opposite Wictech Roofing and Pipes, due to excessive speed, in an attempt to overtake a truck ahead, it lost control and rammed into the rear of the truck, which led to the death of seven passengers.
