Angry Women Take To The Streets Of Kogi Community To Protest. Photos

Aggrieved women on Saturday took to the street to protest the renewed political violence that has claimed the lives of residents in Ihima community, Okehi local government area of Kogi state.

It was gathered that the violence saw many others injured and about fifteen houses burnt in the area.

While protesting, the women called for peace in the land and cursed the desperate politicians who sponsored the violence.

Speaking on behalf of the women, Hajia Abisetu, said their children have been killed in the violence allegedly sponsored by Okehi Administrator and Commissioner for water resources, Salami Ozigi, adding that they don’t want more of their children to be killed.
