There was a mild drama during a press conference by the 6 Division the Nigerian army on arrests and discoveries made by soldiers over electoral offences in Rivers state.

A civilian who was present during the press conference with journalists, disrupted the briefing and accused the soldiers of killing various citizens during the elections across the state.

The army spokesman, Sagir Musa, was left embarrassed after being interrupted as he replied that they are not what people think.

The man was removed from the press conference by another soldier.

Meanwhile, the army has announced the arrest of at least eight suspects who allegedly disrupted the 2019 presidential election in Rivers state.

The army said the suspects confessed to be working for Nyesom Wike, governor of Rivers state.
