A gang of political thugs hired to cause mayhem in the just postponed elections were apprehended in the waterways in the early hours of Monday, 18th February 2019, in in Opu-Nembe, Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
The deadly gang which is said to be headed by one Alias KODBAD, was busted by community youth patrol team and have been handed over to the security operatives for a thorough investigation to unravel their sponsors.
Charms, weapons and other items were allegedly recovered from them.
The Youth leadership of Opu-Nembe community is calling on the security agencies to apprehended every political thug and their sponsors, so it will send a warning to anyone planning evil towards the community in the electioneering period.
