A woman simply identified as Amina, has been identified among those who lost their lives during the stampede at the Jolly Nyame stadium in Jalingo, Taraba state capital.
The incident happened on Thursday, February 7th during President Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign in the State.
It was gathered that at least three persons were killed in the rally and two said to be in critical state.
Meanwhile, the presidency already blamed overcrowding for the deaths but did not confirm the casualty figure.
Commiserating with the families of the victims and the APC family, the President prayed Almighty God to grant peace to the souls of the departed and speedy recovery to the injured.
