The Nigerian Immigration Services (NIS) Katsina state command has arrested two suspected drug traffickers with dangerous substance in the state.

Mr. Joshua Ajisafe, the command comptroller revealed this to newsmen while apprehending the suspects at the command headquarters in Katsina.

According to him, the suspects were identified as Mustapha Nasiru, 19 years old Nigerian and Jamilu Dahiru, 18years old Nigerien.

The controller further revealed that the suspects were arrested at Babbar Ruga patrol base with a substance suspected to be Bromidehyde popularly known as Soak and Die.

“The substance was smuggled into the country from Niger Republic with the intention of delivering it to one unidentified person in Katsina city.”

“The suspects are cooperating by giving useful information that would help in arresting the owner of the product. “ He added

He however revealed that the suspects will be handed over to National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for further investigation.
