A man identified as Mr. Raymond Ledogo Niabari, was allegedly shot by Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) operatives reportedly led by the Commander F-SARS, Akin Fakarode, earlier today in Rivers state.
It was gathered that the victim refused to succumb to alleged manipulation and hijack of election materials in his watch as an INEC technical support Ad-hoc staff – when the SARS men stormed collation center at Bori in Khana local government area of the state.
He was rushed to the hospital after being hit during sporadic shooting by the SARS men and is currently receiving treatment as at the time of filing this report..
Many others were said to have been harassed and injured during the invasion by the security operatives.
