One person has been killed after political supporters clashed earlier today 6th march, 2019 at Kakuri, Kaduna south local government area of Kaduna state.
According to reports, supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and
Social Democratic Party (SDP) clashed during a campaign rally.
The clash which led to certain supporters using knives and other weapons to fight themselves – saw at least one person dead. This caused an unrest in Kakuri before the arrival of soldiers to the area.
It was gathered that supporters during the campaign/rally came with knives and other local weapons to Kakuri- Kaduna South, destroyed people’s shops, vehicles and looted what their hands can cart away freely.
A victim identified as Daniel Adamu was killed in the process.
