Cristiano Ronaldo has hit back at the ongoing transfer speculation surrounding his future in Italy by committing himself to Juventus. The Portuguese star’s relationship with the Serie A giants was reported to have soured significantly following their Champions League exit against Ajax.

Juventus are on the verge of securing their eighth league title in a row, but they have failed to achieve their primary target for this season, after Ronaldo’s £89million transfer.

And according to La Repubblica, the defeat had put the 34-year-old’s future in doubt and he could look to leave Italy next year, halfway through his mega-money contract.

However, the star is now quoted by Tuttosport as firing back at those reports by confirming his intent to remain at the Old Lady for the rest of his four-year deal.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner declared: “For me, there is only Juventus.”

Massimiliano Allegri’s side are currently 17 points ahead of second place Napoli and can wrap up another Scudetto with victory over Fiorentina this weekend.

The Juventus manager also used his Friday press conference to lavish praise on his starman and state that the Portuguese international is the club’s future.

He said: Ronaldo is the future of Juventus. He is an extraordinary player who has had a great season and he’ll have a great one next year.

“He is relaxed, even though he is disappointed like we all are. We’ve exited a competition we thought we could win.”
