A 31-stone American tourist who allegedly forced a flight attendant to wipe his backside and moaned with pleasure as she did has died on a Thai island.

Taiwan’s Eva Air said it attempted to contact the man, who was never named for legal reasons, through a lawyer in the US but were told that he had died in early March while on a lengthy holiday on the island of Ko Samui.

The island in the Gulf of Thailand is popular with tourists and has a reputation for prostitution in addition to idyllic beaches and dense rainforest.

The cause of the man’s death is due to an unspecified illness.

Eva Air, which was plunged into a scandal due to its response to the incident, said it learned of the US national’s death as it planned to formally ban him from travelling with them ever again.

Cheng Chao-yang, spokesman for airline which only hires female cabin crew, said in a press conference this week that the company had decided to officially blacklist the tourist over the scandal on January 19.

The visitor was reportedly flying from Los Angeles to Taiwan’s Taoyuan airport when he requested that flight attendants help undress him in the business class lavatory.

He allegedly threatened to relieve himself on the floor if they did not assist him, claiming he was unable to wipe himself.

The flight attendant claimed she tried to cover the man’s genitals with a blanket but he slapped it away, and that he wanted the lavatory’s door to remain open – a request that was denied.

Citing an injury to his right hand, the passenger then allegedly forced one of the senior crew members to wipe his backside three times, moaning: “Deeper, deeper.”

It is claimed the man complained that the flight attendant hadn’t done a good enough job and forced her to wipe him again.

It was claimed the man boarded the plane in a wheelchair and asked to be given a row of three seats in economy class due to his size.
