We use our uniforms to rob on highways – Dismissed soldiers

Facts and confessions on Tuesday, September 24, emerged as to how some recently dismissed Nigerian soldiers were carrying out their criminal operations on highways. The names of the criminals are Ndidi Oluchukwu, Owolabi Adeyemo, David Olufemi, Iseyin Samuel Isreal, Emeka Ibeh, Samuel Anochime and Ebedot Stephen, Guardian reports.

I stayed beyond the one-week period I was given.

I went back home and stayed for a while before hooking up with other dismissed soldiers in Lagos. I started my new life by escorting commercial vehicles. I make N3,500 each day. I met other members of the gang while escorting vehicles. We came together to form a new gang.”

The police officers who nabbed the soldiers said that the gang hijacked their victims with the guise of belonging to OP MESSA. Moreover, the criminals would rob the victims of their cars and belongings at gunpoint and drive off with the stolen vehicles.
