See What Cooking With Panadol Does To Your Liver And Kidney

0

There have been reports of many people using panadol to cook meat to quickly tenderize the meat and to save their cooking gas.Prolonged use of Panadol usually causes liver failure which may also be accompanied by acute renal failure. High doses of aspirin or panadol can cause acute renal failure. That is why the use of panadol for tenderizing meat must be highly discouraged.

Panadol is mainly used to treat pain and fever and it is not for cooking. If you want to tenderize, use a pressure cooker or slow-cook the meat.

If you know anybody that uses paracetamol for softening meat, please advise them to stop it. Be careful with the Buka’s you patronize as well.
