The Advocacy for Alleged Witches group has said that witchcraft does not exist. The leader of the group, Leo Igwe, said the act of killing people because they suspect they are witches should be stopped.
He said that witchcraft is caused by occultic activities and misinformation of the people.
You will recall that certain parts of the country like Akwa Ibom have been killed, tortured, banished members of their families for being possessed with witchcraft.
