The former Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan during his time as the President of Nigeria, Reno Omokri has said praying and fasting doesn’t bring money to you.
Reno on his twitter handle advised his fans to work hard than just praying and fasting because doing those alone will be unproductive without working. He wrote:
Money is not something you just PRAY for, or something you WISH for, or something you FAST for. God gave you a brain and 2 hands so you can MAKE money. If in the process of making money you encounter problems, then your prayers will move mountains
He also said that:
You cant find opportunity in yesterday. Opportunity begins with o, and o exists only in today and tomorrow. Don’t regret the failures of your past. Prepare for the successes in your future. Change your understanding of NO to mean Next Opportunity
