A 14-year-old boy, Ekene Emmanuel Ezeh has died in Abuja after he was electrocuted. His father who is a vulcanizer narrates the unfortunate incident which occurred on the 7th of April.
According to the father, he was at his shop when a neighbor ran to him that his son had been electrocuted. When he rushed down to the place, he grabbed his son who was said to be foaming from his mouth but the dad was shocked because of the current.
The father used a wooden bench to bush him down before he was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.
The father suspects Ekene touched a naked wire from a kiosk not far from his workshop. His elder brother took to Facebook to mourn him as well that he misses his only brother. Who knows, maybe if schools had been in session this wouldn’t have happened.
