There was drama at South African popular tombstone maker, Lebogang Khitsane’s memorial service on Sunday morning after his sister shockingly pulled a show stopper revealing that the deceased died a bitter man after his wife bedded several men in their matrimonial home.
The shocking revelations were made not so long before she was abruptly interrupted by the deceased husband’s wife in a live broadcast that was aired on South African television eNCA.
Water bottles came flying as the two women almost came to blows over a microphone.
Events leading to the shameful and regrettable scrimmage, are that on Sunday morning the Khitsane family and friends held a memorial service for the popular tombstone entrepreneur Lebohang Khitsane who passed away last week due to renal failure.
Khistane is well known for his unique tombstone designs that include that of Nelson Mandela, singer/producer Robbie Malinga, actor Joe Mafela, and kwaito juggernaut Mduduzi “Mandoza” Tshabalala, Ontlametse Phalatse, Nkululeko ‘Flabba’ Habedi, Baby Jake Matlala, Scara Ngobese among others.
His memorial service was sponsored by the controversial South African television station eNCA to be broadcasted on Sunday afternoon.
It was during the broadcast, as the family came forward to present their eulogies, that the deceased’s bitter sister, Semati Moedi decided not to mince her words in her emotional tribute.
She revealed that her brother died a bitter man as his wife brought in men into their matrimonial bed while he was battling the disease.

Her speech was dramatically interrupted by her sister in law, Khitsane’s widow who sprung into action, throwing water bottles at her in-law as she tried to stop her from proceeding to divulge their secret on a national broadcasting station.
But her actions had little effect on Semati Moedi, who wrestled away the microphone in her hands as she continued to divulge the humiliating information.
The broadcast was cut short after the theatrical events started to unfold, as the two ladies continued to challenge each other outside the church for a fair fight.
Lebogang Khitsane will be laid to rest on Tuesday morning despite the dramatic scrimmage, the family confirms.
