Obaseki vs Ize-Iyamu: Bamgbose predicts party to win Edo governorship election

Olusegun Bamgbose, Esq., the National Coordinator for CAGG, has predicted the political party that may win Edo’s governorship election today.

Bamgbose noted that the Edo governorship election will be very tough and interesting, adding that the APC will no doubt go to any length, to financially induce the voters.

He strongly advised Edo voters, not to sell their votes, saying that doing that is tantamount to mortgaging their future, because of a piece of meal.

The senior lawyers noted that APC will equally showcase their federal might, calling on Edo people to rise up to the occasion by resisting any form of impunity.

“APC has perfected plans to manipulate the election, but they will surely fail. All eyes will be on the election tomorrow,” Bamgbose told DAILY POST.

“Edo voters should be vigilant, and ensure that their votes count come what may. Oshiomhole, who has been slammed with US visa ban should be watched closely.

“The US has tagged him as someone who is undermining democracy. The US is closely watching to ensure the election is free, fair and peaceful.

“Edo voters should not allow Tinubu’s political empire to be extended to Edo State. If that happens, it will be double jeopardy.

“Edo people would then have to contend with two godfathers. The State Treasury will suffer for it.

“Edo voters must totally reject APC today, if truly they want to experience growth and development. I foresee APC crashing out. No amount of rigging will help the situation.
