End SARS protesters around the country have continued to their protests across the cities, demanding justice for all victims of police brutality and killings.

While the youths continue to press for their demands to be met, the protest took another twist on Friday in Lekki toll gate and Alausa as the Muslim youths observed their Jummat prayers on the road.

The Muslim protesters were pictured observing their Jummat prayers at the protest ground near the House of Assembly Drive, Alausa and Toll gate.

This came days after the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, set up a new unit called the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team, to replace the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Unit (SARS).

However, the protesters said they don’t want another unit to be formed by the government, because they believe the new unit is only a mere change of name.
