The president of the federal republic of Nigeria, president Muhammadu Buhari during his Independence day speech disclosed a new price of petrol in Nigeria.
Muhammadu Buhari said that fuel will now be sold at N161 per liter currently in Nigeria, he added that nation’s like Ghana, Nigerian, Chad Saudi Arabia and other oil-producing counties sell petrol on a higher prices than Nigeria, this is his reason for raising the price of fuel in the country.
He condemned the past administration for criticizing his administration when they took over power. He further said that there is no government that did what his administration is doing with such scarce resources.
He said that his government is really trying and has managed the country’s resources well, and have managed to keep things going in spite of the disproportionate spending on security.
