Nigerian singer and songwriter, Augustine Miles Kelechi professionally known as Tekno has redirected his energy to call on the government to increase police salaries only hours after calling for SARS to be ended.
Tekno joined other Nigerians in tweeting and protesting SARS brutality on social media. He kept insisting that the government ends SARS.
However, shortly after Inspector General of police, Adamu Mohammed announced that the Special Anti Robbery Squad has been dissolved, Tekno began calling for an increment in police salaries.
He tweeted: “Increase police salaries to 250k a month.”
