‘We’re grieving at the moment’ – Letitia Wright says reprising Black Panther role without Chadwick Boseman would be ‘strange’

Letitia Wright has said the Black Panther cast are still mourning the loss of their co-star Chadwick Boseman after his death in August.

Speaking to Net-A-Porter’s digital title PORTER the actress, 26, said she finds it difficult to think about his passing and that reprising her role in the next film would be ‘strange’ without him.

Chadwick passed away at the age of 43 from colon cancer, which he was diagnosed with in 2016 but it was never publicly disclosed.

In the candid interview Letitia said: ‘We’re just still mourning Chad, so it’s not something I even want to think about.

‘The thought of doing it (Black Panther) without him is kinda strange. We’re just grieving at the moment, so it’s trying to find the light in the midst of it.’

Letitia showed off her incredible sense of style in the snaps to accompany her interview and donned a black leather jacket as she posed up a storm.

In another shot the star looked effortlessly cool in a cream cardigan and beige linen shirt which she teamed with matching trousers.

She also exuded style in a floor-length padded jacket which she wore over a cream undercoat and black shorts.

The actress is set to star in the upcoming series Small Axe which will depict the brutal hardships brought upon London’s West Indian community in the 20th century
