The late Zimbabwean socialite, Genius Ginimbi was rumoured to have been in a relationship with Moana Mimi till they both perished in the gory accident.
Talking about the late Ginimbi’s affairs and relationships, in 2014, it was reported that he was engaged to Zodwa Mkandla, who was 11 years older than him but they never got married.
In April 2018, Ginimbi disclosed in an interview with the Eastern Times that he and Mkandla were no longer together. At the time, he was single and had a good relationship with his ex, Zodwa, whom he continued to do business with.

Little did we get to know that Ginimbi and Moana Mimi had gotten along from June 2018 and have been together since Moana left her husband in 2017.
During an interview, Moana’s father, Mr Amuli (58) said his daughter who turned 26 had been reported to him on several occasions as neighbours in Domboshava told him his daughter was at Ginimbi’s house but there was nothing he could do about it.
Rumours suggest the duo who perished on the morning of Sunday, 8 November, have been together for two years and were about to make things official as Moana posted a panorama announcing her engagement on Instagram four weeks ago.
