The country is still reeling from the senseless and cold blooded murder of 4 kids from Chivhu by their mother. The mother in question Emelda Marazana locked up the children aged nine, five, three and one in the house.
She took a rope and tied the two elder children before slitting open their throats with a knife. Emelda Marazana went on to kill the other two children with the knife before setting the house on fire.
The kids identified as Amanda, 9, Yolanda, 5, Ayanda, 3, and Glenda aged one were so young and had barely begun their lives, before she snuffed it out in an act of vengeance.
Emelda Marazana is said to have murdered her kids in an act of revenge after she discovered that her husband Lameck Brande, 43, may have been cheating on her.
This was after she discovered a text message in his phone which she alleges was from his mistress.
What’s more shocking is that Emelda Marazani did not show any remorse over her actions.
She said she was merely punishing her husband for his infidelity and she was jealous because her husband loved the children more than her.
Marazani asked to be allowed to go at the funeral so she could see her kids one last time even though she wasn’t sorry for her actions saying
Although I don’t regret killing them, the one thing I ask Government is to be allowed to attend my children’s funeral. I want to see them for the last time,”
