The Coalition of Orphanages and Children’s Home in Nigeria has banned taking pictures with the orphans which is a common practice amongst those visiting the homes
According to the group, people use these pictures on social media which sometimes lead to stigmatization for the children. Orphanages will be fined 50,000naira for any pictures taken and made public.
